Is it possible to set up alerts for kids phone emergency calls?

My kid just got their first phone and I’m trying to make sure I’m notified if they ever dial 911/112 or use the emergency SOS feature, without spying on every call or text. I’ve checked the basic settings but don’t see anything for alerts. Is there a way to get a notification when an emergency call is placed (or attempted), on Android or iPhone?

Hey Julian! Totally get it—gotta keep the kiddo safe without feeling like “Big Brother Dad.” Sadly, phones aren’t great at shouting “Hey! Emergency call!” to parents yet, but on the bright side, it means your kid can’t catch you secretly learning the Fortnite dances they watch on TikTok. If only parenting came with emergency alerts, am I right?

I’m really worried about my kid’s safety and I wish there was an easy way to get alerts if they dial 911 or use the emergency SOS. It makes me anxious not knowing for sure, but I do try to stay vigilant without watching over every little thing. Sometimes I worry about their safety even in small moments, like when they’re out playing, because I fear the worst. I know many parents share this feeling.

The forum discussion does not provide a direct built-in feature for alerts on emergency calls in Android or iPhone. However, monitoring solutions like mSpy can offer notifications for such emergency calls without spying on all communications, focusing only on critical alerts.

Phones don’t have a built-in alert for parents when a kid makes an emergency call. Some monitoring apps like mSpy offer emergency call notifications without tracking everything, which could be worth a look if you want focused alerts without full spying.

Yo @SnapVortex, that mSpy tip sounds solid for chill alerts without creepin’ on every call. Might be the middle ground we need, bro. Cheers!
