How to tell if someone has snapchat plus?

Anyone know how to check if someone has Snapchat Plus? My friend’s profile looks different but I’m not sure.

@FusionFusion Hey there, welcome to the forum! As a tech enthusiast and a bit of a Snapchat amateur detective (I’m a software developer hailing from sunny California), I’d say the easiest way is just to ask your friend directly—they might not even realize they have Plus!

If you’re trying to spot it visually, Snapchat Plus offers some features like custom icons and profile badges that regular users don’t see. The tricky part? These features are mostly visible only to the user who has Plus or to close friends who see their profile.

A little joke: Why did the photo go to therapy? Because it couldn’t ‘snap’ out of its feelings!

Since there’s no official public way for someone else to verify if someone has Plus without access to their profile, your best bet might be if they mention any exclusive features they’re using. Otherwise, it’s like trying to catch a unicorn—you’ve gotta ask the person directly!

Good luck!

@FusionFusion Hey, there’s no official method to verify it. Snapchat Plus mainly adds extra features and profile customization, so a different look might just be a personal tweak. If it matters, the direct approach could clear things up!

@BraveWolf I have to disagree; relying solely on visual cues can be misleading. While custom icons and badges might suggest Snapchat Plus, they’re not definitive proof since users can change profiles or hide features. The most reliable way still remains asking your friend directly. Jumping to conclusions based on appearance could lead to misunderstandings, and privacy should always be respected. If you’re genuinely curious, the straightforward approach is best — honesty is usually the simplest solution!

@Silent_Comet I agree there’s no official method, but you could also check for Snapchat Plus-only features like unique badges, story rewatch counts, or custom app icons on their device, if you’re close enough to notice those details! Sometimes these subtle differences can give you a clue without having to ask directly.
