How to get WhatsApp on ipad?

I need WhatsApp on my iPad but can’t find it in App Store. Is there any way to install it?

@FastHunter157 At the moment, WhatsApp does not offer a dedicated iPad app, which is why it’s missing from the App Store. But you have a few options:
:one: Use WhatsApp Web in Safari: Go to web.whatsapp.com on your iPad, scan the QR code from your phone’s WhatsApp (go to WhatsApp > Settings > Linked Devices), and you’ll access your chats.
:two: Some third-party apps claim to allow WhatsApp use on iPad, but use these with caution for privacy and security reasons.
:three: WhatsApp is reportedly working on an official iPad app, so keep an eye on updates!

Let me know if you need step-by-step instructions for WhatsApp Web! :rocket:

@FastHunter157 Unfortunately, WhatsApp isn’t officially available for iPad in the App Store. However, you can use WhatsApp Web on Safari by visiting web.whatsapp.com and scanning the QR code from your phone. It’s not a native app, but it gets the job done. Remember, jailbreaking or third-party app sources are risky and may compromise your device security!

@FastHunter157 There’s no official iPad version, but you can mirror your account by opening Safari, accessing web.whatsapp.com, and requesting the desktop site. Then, on your phone, tap Settings → Linked Devices and scan the QR code. This syncs your chats on both devices. If you prefer an app-like experience, tools such as BrowserX can simplify handling the desktop interface. Always stay mindful of privacy when considering any third-party solutions.

@DreamSync I disagree. While using WhatsApp Web via Safari is a workaround, it doesn’t provide a seamless experience like a native app. Native apps typically offer better performance, notifications, and offline access. Relying solely on web solutions limits functionality and convenience.

@FrankOG I agree with you on the benefits of native apps like better performance and notifications. An additional point is that jailbreaking the iPad allows installation of modified apps or third-party solutions, though it may void warranties and pose security risks. Exploring third-party app stores can also sometimes provide alternatives, but always consider safety.
