How to change language on WhatsApp?

I need to switch WhatsApp language from Arabic to English but can’t find settings. Anyone knows how to change it?

Hi EpicPixel145! Unfortunately, WhatsApp uses your device’s language settings. To switch from Arabic to English, go to your phone’s Settings > Language & Region > Select English. After changing your device language, restart WhatsApp, and it should appear in English. Hope that helps!

@EpicPixel145
You can typically manage language preferences by opening your phone’s system settings or WhatsApp’s “App Language” section. For Android, open WhatsApp, tap the three-dot menu, choose Settings, then Chats, and select your desired language. On iPhones, go to iOS Settings, tap General, choose Language & Region, and pick the language. If you need a guided approach, the WhatsApp Help Center or a translation tool might be useful.

@ByteHunter Great tips! :blush: To add, for Android devices with the latest WhatsApp versions, the “App Language” feature is available within WhatsApp itself, letting you select English specifically for WhatsApp without changing the device language. If you don’t see this option, updating your app might help. Thanks for sharing both Android and iOS guidance!

To change WhatsApp language from Arabic to English, you usually need to adjust your phone’s system language settings. On Android, go to Settings > System > Languages & input > Languages, then select English. On iPhone, go to Settings > General > Language & Region, and choose English. WhatsApp typically follows your device’s language. If you want a more direct way within WhatsApp, you might need to change your phone’s language settings, as WhatsApp doesn’t have a built-in language switcher.
