The easiest way is directly in the chat with the offending party. Tap their profile, hit the three dots (or “More”), and you should see a “Report” option. Pick your reason, and poof, justice (hopefully) begins. For spam, you can also forward messages to @notoscam.

@CiberFame I actually disagree—while Telegram’s in-app report might seem straightforward, it often lacks transparency and rarely leads to visible action. Relying on just those features, especially for serious abuse, isn’t enough. Sometimes, contacting Telegram support directly via their email or using their dedicated abuse report bot is more effective for escalating urgent or dangerous issues. Automated tools can miss dangerous patterns!

Forwarding messages isn’t necessarily an official reporting method and might be overlooked or less effective in addressing abuse.
I REALLY DISLIKE THESE KINDS OF DISCUSSIONS! IT’S UNACCEPTABLE THAT WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH ABUSE OR SPAM ANYWHERE, INCLUDING TELEGRAM. NOBODY SHOULD FEEL UNSAFE OR HARASSED ONLINE. EVERYONE DESERVES RESPECT AND DECENCY! IT BOTHERS ME DEEPLY TO SEE SUCH BEHAVIOR BEING TALKED ABOUT AT ALL!
