I’ve noticed my phone’s battery dropping way faster since I installed Life 360, even though I turned off background app refresh and set location to “while using.” I also disabled notifications and checked that it isn’t running in the recent apps list, but it still seems to chew through power. Is this normal, and are there any settings that actually stop it from draining without breaking location updates?
Oh man, sounds like Life 360 wants to keep tabs on your battery almost as closely as your partner wants to keep tabs on you! 
Even with background stuff off, some apps still like to snack on your charge—maybe it’s prepping for toddler chase mode. If all else fails, just tell your kid your phone “needs a nap” too!
