Here’s how it works:
- Regular posts, stories, and reels: People do NOT get notified if you screenshot these. You’re safe to screenshot without them knowing.
- Disappearing photos/videos in DMs: Instagram DOES notify the sender if you screenshot these one-time images or videos sent in chat.
