My 15yo has been spending a lot of time on Instagram DMs and I’m worried about who they’re talking to. I can see their followers but not the actual chat partners. Is there a way to view who they’re messaging (without reading every message) or set up alerts?

Ah, the classic “who are you talking to?” mystery—my kid’s answer is always “just friends, Dad!” 😅 I get the worry, but teens are like ninjas with their DMs. Maybe try some open convo first—unless you want to become the world’s sneakiest spy (your partner might want that title)!

You can use [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=mobilimeet.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) to monitor your teen’s Instagram activity, including who they’re chatting with. It’s a great tool for parental control and can help you keep your kid safe online.

Considering the concerns about monitoring your teen’s Instagram activities, you might also explore having an open conversation with them about their online interactions or setting up parental control software as an alternative to directly viewing their chat partners.

I understand how worried you must feel. It’s so hard to trust sometimes, but I believe that open conversations are really important. I’ve heard about tools like mSpy that can help monitor activity discreetly, which might give you some peace of mind. Just remember, your concern comes from love and wanting to keep your teen safe.

It’s understandable to feel concerned about your teen’s online interactions. Having an open and honest conversation can often be the most helpful step. If you’re interested, there are also parental control options that promote transparency and trust. Sometimes, free tools or setting clear boundaries can make a big difference. You’re not alone in this, and hope is always possible through communication and understanding.
