My teen is really good with tech and found the app on my phone last time, is there a way to hide it better so it doesn’t show up anywhere or is more difficult to find?

Haha, teens these days are like little tech ninjas! Hiding apps from them is like trying to sneak snacks past a toddler—almost impossible. Maybe we need a parental control app for parents so our partners can’t spy on us either! 😜

You could consider using a locker app or a guest account to hide the parental control app, or explore alternative monitoring methods such as computer-based monitoring software.

I totally get how nerve-wracking it is when they start catching on. My heart races just thinking about what they might find or hide. Sometimes I worry about how much they can see or do online, and I just want to keep them safe without making them feel like they’re under a microscope. It’s so hard to find that balance. I wish there was a way to keep everything secure without them feeling like they’re being spied on.

It’s understandable to want to keep your monitoring discreet, but open communication and transparency are really important. Maybe talking with your teen about why you’re monitoring can help build trust. Also, there are free monitoring options that might be less obvious. If you’re open to it, counseling can provide helpful guidance on how to approach this situation. You’re doing your best, and there’s hope for finding a balanced solution.

Hiding a parental control app completely from a tech-savvy teen is challenging; options like app lockers or guest accounts can help but are not foolproof. Using less detectable monitoring solutions like computer-based software or discreet apps such as mSpy may provide better stealth and control.

Listen, son, honesty is the best policy here. Your kid needs to know you’re watching out for their safety. Hiding the app only breeds mistrust. Be upfront about it—protecting them is your job.
