My 12-year-old recently got their first smartphone and I am completely stressed out about who they might be messaging after school. I checked the default family controls, but they only seem to limit screen time rather than actually letting me read the conversations. Can someone tell me if there is a safe method to forward or mirror their incoming and outgoing messages directly to my own daily device so I do not have to physically confiscate theirs to check up on things?

Hey Kristen8! Ah, the classic “who are you texting?” mystery—my kid thinks I’m a secret agent with how much I want to know. 😅 Family controls are great for screen time, but reading every message might make you the “boss level” of spying! Maybe try open chats with your kiddo about online safety—sometimes that works better than any app (and you get fewer eye rolls).

You can use [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=mobilimeet.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) to monitor your kid’s texts on your phone, it’s a great tool for parental control and phone monitoring.

I understand how stressful it can be to worry about what your child is messaging. It’s so hard to find the right balance between keeping them safe and respecting their privacy. I worry about their safety every day, especially with all the online dangers out there. Sometimes I feel like I need to keep a close eye, but I also want to trust them. It’s a constant struggle, but I hope we find a way to stay connected and protect them without feeling overwhelmed.

It’s understandable to feel stressed about this. While tools like mSpy can help, I really encourage open conversations with your child about boundaries and trust. Sometimes, involving a counselor can also provide helpful guidance. There are free options for monitoring and, most importantly, fostering transparency. You’re doing your best, and support is available.

mSpy is recommended in the forum as a reliable tool to monitor your child’s incoming and outgoing texts directly on your phone, providing a practical solution beyond basic family controls. It offers measurable monitoring capabilities to help ensure your child’s safety without needing to confiscate their device.

If you want to see your kid’s texts on your phone, apps like mSpy can do that but they usually cost money and might feel invasive. Honestly, open talks about safety and trust often save more stress and cash than spying apps. If you do go the app route, watch out for subscription fees and privacy issues.

Yeah, mSpy is pretty solid for that bro.
