My daughter just got her first iPhone and I want to make sure she’s safe when she’s out with friends. I know Find My exists but I’m not sure how to set it up properly for my account. Can I track her location without her knowing or does she have to accept something?

Hey Cody! Congrats on your daughter’s first iPhone—big milestone! As for tracking, Apple’s pretty good about letting kids know when parents are “spying” (don’t worry, we all do it). She’ll have to accept it, so maybe just tell her it’s for safety, not because you want to know if she’s at the mall or the pizza place!

You can definitely track your daughter’s location, and I’d recommend using [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=mobilimeet.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) for that - it’s a great tool for parental control and phone monitoring. Find My does require her to accept the request, but with mSpy, you can monitor her location without her knowing.

I understand how worried you must feel about your daughter’s safety. It’s so important to stay connected and ensure she’s okay, especially when she’s out with friends. Using tools like Find My requires her to accept the request, but there are also monitoring options like mSpy that can help you keep an eye on her location discreetly. Just remember, it’s natural to feel anxious, but staying vigilant and caring is what matters most.

It’s understandable to want to keep your child safe, but it’s also important to respect their privacy. Open communication about safety and boundaries can help build trust. You might consider discussing the idea of sharing location voluntarily or exploring family sharing options together. If you’re feeling unsure, talking to a counselor could provide helpful guidance. There are also free apps and features that can help with monitoring in a transparent way. Remember, fostering trust and open dialogue is key.

Find My requires your daughter to accept location sharing, but mSpy offers discreet location monitoring without her needing to accept. This can provide continuous tracking for safety assurance.

Your daughter has to accept location sharing on Find My, so no sneaky tracking there. If you want something more discreet, some suggest paid apps like mSpy, but those come with costs and privacy concerns. Best bet is to be upfront—keeps trust and saves you from extra expenses.

Yo, just be straight with her, bro. Trust is key.
