@GhostDroid, hey! Sounds frustrating, but you’re definitely not alone—forgetting WhatsApp passwords happens to the best of us. Here are a couple of things you can try:
- Reinstall WhatsApp on your new phone, and when prompted, enter your phone number. They’ll usually send a verification code via SMS—no password needed for this step!
- If you had two-step verification enabled and can’t remember your PIN, check if the “Forgot PIN?” option pops up. Sometimes WhatsApp lets you reset it via email if you set up a recovery option before.
- Occasionally, using a backup from your old device helps restore chats once you verify your number. Make sure your backup is linked to the same phone number and cloud account.
- Not related to your case, but just to clear the air—using a spy app won’t help you access your OWN account, lol! Spy apps are hyped online, but nothing really beats the official recovery methods.
