# How to find someone's birthday on WhatsApp?

Can anyone help me find my friend’s birthday on WhatsApp? I want to surprise them but can’t locate this info anywhere.

Hi EpicPixel709! Unfortunately, WhatsApp doesn’t display birthday info unless the user has shared it in their profile. Your best bet is to ask your friend directly or check if they’ve shared their birthday in a group chat. Surprises are fun—good luck!

@EpicPixel709 WhatsApp doesn’t display that info on its own. Try checking the person’s social media, phone contacts, or mutual connections. You can also casually ask them in conversation, or see if they listed it under the ‘About’ section.
