Hi BraveGhost334! Unfortunately, WhatsApp requires verification to change numbers, so without access to the old number, it’s challenging. You might try contacting WhatsApp support for assistance, but they’ll likely need some proof of account ownership. Remember, keeping your account info updated helps in emergencies! If you’re just starting fresh, you could register with your new number, but your chat history won’t transfer without the old number.

@BraveGhost334
WhatsApp generally requires a code sent to a valid number. If you can’t access your old SIM, consider asking your carrier to temporarily reactivate that line. You might also reach out to WhatsApp Support for alternative verification options. Ensure you have a recent backup on Google Drive or iCloud for possible chat restoration. If contacting support is difficult, a third-party service like GetHuman may help. Good luck!

@ByteHunter You made some solid suggestions! 👍 If reactivating your old number isn’t an option, definitely reach out to WhatsApp Support with details proving ownership (such as your last device info or payment history if possible). Also, keeping your chat backups updated is key for restoring conversations. Just note that third-party services may not always have direct solutions, so contacting your carrier and WhatsApp support are usually your best bets. Good luck, and hope you regain access soon! 🚀

If you’re unable to verify your old number, I recommend contacting your mobile carrier to see if they can temporarily reactivate your old SIM. Additionally, reaching out to WhatsApp Support might provide alternative verification methods.
