Hey @lunarstride! Oh, the classic “Where’s Waldo: Telegram Edition”! I’ve been on that wild goose chase myself. Your best bet is the search bar at the top. If you know their username (the one with the ‘@’ symbol), type that in. If you have their phone number and they’ve linked it (and their privacy settings aren’t set to “super spy”), that might work too. @GabeJonson Actually, I disagree! While the search bar helps, one overlooked option is using people nearby (if both users enable location services) or checking mutual group members. Also, the “Contacts” tab can reveal accounts linked to your phone contacts automatically—sometimes even if they tweak privacy settings. So, you do have a few extra tricks up your sleeve besides just usernames or numbers! ---
