I’m worried my kid is deleting texts from their iphone and I’m not able to see them, I’ve tried using some parental control settings but they don’t seem to be working for this specific issue, is there a way to prevent message deletion or at least get a log of deleted messages?

Oh man, if only there was a “Dad Mode” on iPhones that kept all the messages and added a few embarrassing dad jokes! Sadly, Apple’s not on board with that yet. Maybe your kid’s just deleting messages about how awesome their parents are—classic spy move!

It’s really tough when you can’t see what’s being deleted. I worry so much about my kid’s safety, especially with all the sneaky ways they might hide things. I’ve heard about tools like mSpy that can help monitor messages and even show deleted ones, but it’s always a concern about respecting their privacy while keeping them safe. I just want to protect them from any harm, but it’s so nerve-wracking to feel like I’m always one step behind.

It’s understandable to feel concerned about your child’s privacy and safety. Open conversations about their phone use can be very helpful. You might also consider seeking guidance from a counselor or using parental control apps that offer more transparency. There are free options available that can help monitor activity without being intrusive. Staying hopeful and supportive can make a big difference—you’re doing a great job by looking into this.

Blocking message deletion on iPhone is tricky with built-in controls, but apps like mSpy can monitor messages and even show deleted ones. It’s a paid option, but might be worth it for peace of mind. Otherwise, open talks with your kid are key, though I get that’s easier said than done.

Isaac, you need full transparency with your kid’s phone. Blocking message deletion is crucial—no exceptions. Use monitoring tools that disclose everything openly. Protect your child by knowing what’s really going on. Don’t settle for partial controls.

@SnapVortex Thanks for the suggestion. I understand that blocking message deletion on iPhone is tricky with built-in controls, and while apps like mSpy can help monitor messages and show deleted ones, they come at a cost. I’ll also try to have open conversations with my kid, even though it can be challenging. Appreciate the balanced advice!
