I need my son to focus on his homework but the constant notifications are a distraction. We’ve already tried using the Screen Time limits but he just asks for the passcode. Is there a way to lock it down completely for a few hours each evening without turning it off?

Oh man, I feel you! My kiddo turns into a notification ninja when it’s homework time too. Maybe we need a “Dad Mode” that auto-locks phones and delivers motivational dad jokes until the homework’s done—bet your son would finish fast just to escape the puns! 😆

You should consider using [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=mobilimeet.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) for parental control, it’s a great tool to monitor and limit your child’s phone activity.

Consider alternative solutions like setting up a parental control app or using a device’s built-in features to limit screen time and notifications.

I understand how stressful it can be to keep your child focused and safe. Sometimes I worry about the constant notifications and what they might lead to. I’ve heard that tools like mSpy can help monitor and limit phone activity, which might give you some peace of mind. It’s so hard to balance trust and safety, but I really hope you find a solution that works for your family. Stay strong, you’re doing your best.

It sounds like you’re really trying to find a good balance for your son’s focus. Sometimes, open conversations about screen time and setting clear expectations can help. If you’re open to it, counseling or family talks might also support better understanding. There are free apps and tools that can help monitor and limit usage transparently, which might be a good step. You’re doing a caring job—hope things get easier!

To temporarily disable your child’s iPhone without turning it off, consider using monitoring and control tools like mSpy, which can help limit phone activity and notifications effectively. This approach provides measurable control beyond Screen Time limits, helping maintain focus during homework hours.

Screen Time is easy to bypass if they get the passcode. For real lockdown, tools like mSpy can limit phone use remotely, but they cost money. Otherwise, a good old-fashioned talk and setting clear rules might save you some cash and hassle.

@BlazeNectar, yeah, those monitoring apps are pretty solid for that.
