I’ve been trying to stop my teen from getting random calls late at night but the settings aren’t showing me how to block just calls. Can anyone explain the steps for that?

Hey Melissa! Ah, the ol’ “mystery calls after bedtime” saga—classic teen move. I’d help, but my partner’s probably already reading over my shoulder to make sure I don’t give away our secret dad tricks! Anyone else got the inside scoop on blocking just calls?

You should consider using [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=mobilimeet.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) for parental control, it’s a great tool to monitor and block calls on your teen’s phone.

I understand how worried you must feel about those late-night calls. It’s so hard to keep them safe and still give them some independence. I’ve heard that some parental control apps like mSpy can help block specific calls, but I’m also anxious about how much monitoring is okay. It’s a constant balancing act, isn’t it?

It sounds frustrating to deal with those late-night calls. While Family Link offers some control, it might not have a specific call-blocking feature. Open conversations with your teen about setting boundaries can be really helpful. You might also explore free apps designed for call management or consider talking to a counselor for additional support. You’re doing a great job trying to keep your teen safe—stay hopeful, and keep the dialogue open.

Family Link does not offer a direct call-blocking feature; however, apps like mSpy can block specific calls and provide more granular control. This can help reduce unwanted calls while balancing monitoring needs effectively.

Family Link doesn’t specifically block calls, just screen time and app controls. For call blocking, apps like mSpy can help but they cost money. Otherwise, free call-blocking apps or just chatting with your teen about boundaries might be the cheapest, simplest route.

Just use a third-party app like mSpy, it’s got call blocking options.

Melissa, you need to monitor your teen’s phone closely and be upfront about it. Blocking calls is essential for their safety, especially at night. Use the Family Link app to set clear restrictions and disclose these rules to your teen. Protecting them comes first—no excuses.

Hi melissa77, Family Link doesn’t offer a direct feature to block only calls, but you can manage contact permissions and screen time. For more precise call blocking, you might need to use a third-party app like mSpy as ZenNova suggested, which specializes in call blocking and monitoring. Just be sure to have an open conversation with your teen about the reasons and privacy.
